In an era of dwindling resources, schools and community agencies must turn to alternative sources of funding to meet the ever growing needs of their stakeholders. Dr. Porter has simplified the path through the maze of grant development so that a novice may follow successfully.

This book provides readers with a step by step easy to read process for writing competitive grants for schools. If you have never written a grant, this is the book you need to get started. If you have written some, this is the book you need to become a more effective writer. I am an assistant superintendent of a mid-sized public school district and this resource has helped me to bring in thousands of dollars.
