If you want to research a time capsule for Gay & Lesbian Civil Rights in the world famous Silicon Valley over a 30 year period, this one's for you.

If you want to gain some understanding of the difficult journey for many Gay & Lesbian people in our lifetime, take a look at Ted's book of candid photographs, clear commentary and interesting interviews.

We've always had sexual diversity but it is easy to look the other way. Ted Sahl opens a window into what was happening to some of our friends, relatives, and co-workers and it is worthwhile to take a look.

What will first catch your eye in the photos is that these are folks who "look just like heterosexuals".

This is not a book with the stereotypical parade dress-up image of this community, but rather, it is like having been handed the family photo album full of everyday faces at events, at home, at the office.

Weaving the photographs together is Ted's running narrative which calls attention to the underlying development and enrichment of the human spirit occurring as folks came out, broke out, and formed community, and who strive to be fulfilled human beings.
