For sale is the hardcover version of the book "Grizzlies Don't Come Easy!" by Ralph W. .It is a terrific book containing many engaging stories by Ralph Young, a former Alaskan guide who primarily hunted Alaskan Brown Bears. In fact, it was highly recommended to me and I had to look very high and low just to find it. It is certainly long out of print. The book is in excellent condition. There are a few words written on the protective paper cover on the back, and on one or two pages inside. There are no creases, rips, or scribbles on any page.

Very entertaining look into a not too distant past era of Alaska. I will admit that I was looking for bear hunting advice, but that is not the direction this book takes. It is a completely enjoyable look at the author's experiences both as a guide and as an adventurer.

If you don't know who Ralph W. Young is you should. He was by far the greatest big brown bear hunting guide ever. He guided such greats as Jack O'Conner and others. The first story about bears that I ever read was the first hunt he took O'Conner on in Alaska. It was in Outdoor Life magazine and it caught me. I have been reading stories like this ever since. I have lots of books about bears and bear hunting. I my self will never stalk the kelp flats along the coast of Alaska, but reading this story and the other one by Ralph they took me there and I enjoyed them so much I couldn't put them down. I have read this several times and it still excites me. It is about the big brown bears mostly but some about the black bears too. It is a great read. I hope you buy it and enjoy it as much as I did. thanks..
