As a former Brooklynite and elementary school teacher I was interested in reading your book. i must say I was delighted to see all the activities, stories and even recipes pertaining to Korea. it is such a treat for children to learn about other cultures. Children are children everywhere as your book shows. Best of luck in your teaching career that lets you reach out and inspire youngsters. One person found this helpful.

The craft adaptations rely heavily on nontraditional materials (wax paper and plastic straws), and also present some technical problems. The six puppets included with a brief puppet-script can carry out the action of the story only with difficulty: Raven, who must fly, has wings at rest; the two brothers who must climb on Raven and carry a sack have hands clasped in front and stand stiffly forward.
