The Rotary Club of Indianapolis was founded in 1913, just eight years after the formation of the first club in Chicago. Visit our Indianapolis club history page. Club meetings are on Tuesday at noon on the 2nd floor of the Scottish Rite Cathedral and are concluded by 1:30 p. m. or before. There are approximately 15 other clubs in the Indianapolis area. To provide long-term financial support for its social service projects, the club established the Indianapolis Rotary Foundation in 1947. Written by E.
