During his six years working as Tiger’s swing coach - a period during which Woods claimed six major titles - Haney was at his famous student’s side both on and off the course, assessing his mechanics but also trying to figure what made Tiger tick. The coach is frank about all that he found troubling. But for all his criticisms, he is also on a quest to understand. Mixing anecdotes with vivid observations, Rotella delves deep without drifting off into psycho-babble.

This is a great book for lovers of Golf. It gives details of the progression of clubs and their styles over the years. Just compare those clubs in the trunk of your car to these and you will be thankful you don't have to slog out your game with some of these monsters!
gives some details of individual manufacturers which was a great help when I was selecting new clubs recently. Well worth the read!

I use this book as a reference source, a coffee table book and a source of inspiration. I would say it is the best golf book available if I didn't recently acquire Ellis' other book, "The Golf Club"
A great guide to make one aware of "what is out there" in antique golf clubs. As a "beginner" in this great hobby and sport, it has really helped me.
