Very good book on stately homes and country houses of Britain.

It doesn't really discuss ruins, however, only those which are still standing. For example, Fotheringay and Kenninghall don't get a mention. Very good book on stately homes and country houses of Britain.

Granted, the pictures of some of the Castles appear to be from either the 1960's, 1970's or at their earliest 1980's. However, I am sure little has changed.
