In 1999 Nathaniel Bluedorn and Hans Bluedorn decided to try to turn their interest in logic into a livelihood by starting Christian Logic.

For instance, in chapter one, When is it dumb to argue, the examples are just silly not-to-do answers (but true) like two people arguing over the stupidest things. I would highly recommend this book. Excellent book for students grade 7-9 and easily relevant and extendable for students a couple grades on either side of that, too. Highly recommended supplement for teachers and homeschoolers! Check out their website, too.

We've been using this book and The Fallacy Detective for years with our high school children. We like the humorous way the chapters are presented and the kids enjoy the lessons.

This is a great book. I have used this text for my middle school Rhetoric class for four years. The students love it and it makes teaching the subject fun. Kudos to the Bluedorn Brothers for a job well-done.

Great review, and will be useful as I nudge my granddaughter to become a clear thinker.

An excellent breakdown of the lost art of analytical thought and critique of dialogue. Teaching our children how to think is a lost art this book will help parents accomplish and aid in that effort. It's also good for us adults too... maybe even moreso!

Just started with lesson one and we're already hooked! the writing style is quite engaging and has definitely hooked my typically, nonplussed 12 year old. I have to say that early in to this book, i'm excited about things to come.

A good intro to logic for young people.
We were fans of the Fallacy Detective. That even got the grandparents involved and impressed with the kids identifying logical fallacies. Working this in once a week and reviewing the ideas throughout the week. Keeps it light and fun...plus keeps them thinking.
