wasnt crazy about this. it did have good pics and illustrations but the book seemed vague..not an in depth book for me for further learning.

Undoubtedly a good review of the subject, but it was over my head, all in all. I thought about giving it to my vet, but I'll keep it as a reference when needed.

This guide has been extremely helpful in understanding and dealing with the arthritis in our 14 year old dog. It is the only thing I found that specified the recommended dosages of supplements. Unfortunately my library did not carry it so I bought it, but it is also handy to keep as a reference.

Met my expectations -- mainly use as a reference book.

The bottom line is that dog owners most often approach this subject matter when there are hard decisions to be made. This book adds a lot of clarity to that process.

Our Vet loaned us his copy to read over the weekend. We were so impressed we ordered our own.

Although it is slightly dated, this book is by far the most clear and comprehensive reference on the subject we've ever seen.

The writing is clear and understandable by the layman. The many illustrations are very well done.
