If you consider that the mind of a person from one culture is going to be different in many ways from the mind of a person from another culture, then you have the explanation for that most fundamental of all cross-cultural problems: the fact that two people look upon the same reality, the same example of behavior, and see two entirely different. This really is a great book. I was a PCV 2010-2012 and this book is an awesome resource--we used some of the activities in training and I'm still using it for my Masters research. It's just a great resource for anyone wanting to learn more about other cultures, going to a different country, etc.

The book itself doesn't teach about other countries/cultures specifically, but rather explains culture and why we do the things we do. It assists people who wish to travel abroad, or even those who work with people from different cultures here in the U.S. I would definitely recommend this book!
