I currently have this book and HATE it! The type and font are so small it actually hurts my eyes. And why are the vocabulary words in italics and not bold? Its incredibly hard to understand, not fluid at all, and there is no glossary. Not to mention the index doesn't have any of the topics that I look for. Its a shame because there is plenty of information to learn but I keep having to flip back and forth in between chapters and I lose focus with this book.

I needed this book for a criminal justice class. The product description said that it was slightly used but when I got it it looked new. I revived this book promptly after I ordered it. I highly re omens this seller.

This book is a great book for any criminal justice major and LE officer. Whether student or officer the topics here applies to all. I enjoyed every page of it. This book is great to keep as a school reference and as an officer for administrative references.

This book is dry and boring. It doesn't provide the details that you're looking for but it does provide some bias.
I have never had a textbook that was so miserable to read. I'd like to see it removed from required reading to save future students from the misery. I think the author is so caught up in his own importance that he forgot who his audience is. The information could have been presented in a much more interesting way.

Outstanding book. Even with over thirty years in law enforcement, this book still had information I can use. Highly recommend to anyone in a leadership position in a law enforcement agancy.

I bought this book late for a college course and got it in only a few days. The book is boring as to be expected,it is a college text after all :(. Overall no complaints, and a great product!
Just as good as the newest editions, only thing different is the chapters. The book had all the pages and no writing in it, good as new!
