The Bid Proposal Handbook by Jack Avon is a step by step guide to the bid proposal process. Each chapter is set up to discuss very specific steps through the bidding process. This book would be very important to someone just starting out in the bid proposal process, learning how to put a project team together to how to reflect on the process at the end, whether the bid waa one or not. Speaking of that particular section, titled Learning Outcomes, I particularly enjoyed the way this section is phrased and the information contained. There's so much information that I think, at some points, the book could benefit from some personality or humor.
