Even though I did not like very much the beggining, I liked how it evolved. The characters are well developed and it was really good to see Raquel trust Holt from the beggining, but then regain her confidence and self-trust and wait until she was secure before returning to his arms. Also Holt is a very good character, always a gentleman, who waits for her to be ready. Really liked it as every book from Becky Barker that I have read (or listened to). Good read.

This book had me captivated from the beginning. The characters were both wonderful and maddening at the same time. What they had in common was what kept them apart from one another and thrust together. A passionate on again, off again romance and eventually a deep, and everlasting love. I completely fell in love with Holt. A completely fulfilling romance.

I really enjoyed this book - storyline was great, I was able to get into the characters as well. I would have liked to understand the heroine's perspective from the beginning, but it was interesting to learn more about the hero of the story first. I don't believe I ever read where it was explained what Rachel was thinking by showing up at the cowboy's hotel room when she never seemed to have any sort of reaction to him from the beginning. Regardless, it was a hot yummy scene in the hotel and they were together for most of the book, which I really enjoyed...meaning the hero/heroine getting to know one another, Rachel getting to know his family, etc. Loved their overwhelming attraction to one another, her innocence, his extensive experience, their sexual tension building, his restraint and on and on I could go.....

This was soooo good!!! What a romance! I read it in one night....couldn't put it down. I want one of him :) You won't be disappointed in this read.

This was a very average romance story, but I enjoyed it. The plot was very simple and the female character's relationship with her father could have been developed better.
