Tracy Madison’s books are pure magic! -New York Times Bestselling Author Angie Fox. It’s humorous and heartfelt. Ms. Madison has penned another delightful spell that will ensnare and bewitch readers and leave them wanting more. This book is one that you won’t want to put down until you read it from beginning to end and it will leave you craving more. This is a definite keeper.

Book 4 of 4 in Magic Series (4 Book Series). Once again Tracey Madison has written a fantastic book. I couldn't put this book down, it's funny, heartfelt, magical and hot. Even though it's a fantasy romance it somehow reflects real life; highlighting the importance of family and encourages you to follow your heart in all areas of life and love.

Frustrated and ravenous, I gave up and grabbed the box that claimed to be spaghetti. Nights like this almost made me yearn for Wednesdays. My parents might drive me crazy, but Rosalie was an excellent cook. Well, when lamb wasn’t on the menu. Some of my best childhood memories were of Rosalie teaching me to cook. I was good at it, too. But who had the time? Not me.

Tracy Madison writes sweet, believable romance. In book 4 of her Magic series, Tracy Madison introduces us to Julia Collins and gives Scot Raymond his chance at finding his soul mate

Tracy Madison writes sweet, believable romance. In By Magic Alone she continues the story of the gypsy magic past down through the generations first held by Miranda (the great-great-great grandmother ghost), by following Scot as his grandmother Verna tries to find his soulmate through a dating service. Something is drawing Julia Collins to Magical Matchups, a new and competing dating service, run by Verna. In book 4 of her Magic series, Tracy Madison introduces us to Julia Collins and gives Scot Raymond his chance at finding his soul mate. The problem is, Julia doesn't believe in soul mates.

That doesn't stop Logan Daugherty from proposing four months after spending the most wonderful night of his life with Anna Rockwood.

thank goodness Ms. Madison has more books on the way because I am all tied up with Miranda's girls. I can't wait to see what happens next!"" - "Emily Becher "Tracy Madison is the new Olivia Goldsmith" -"New York Times "bestselling author MaryJanice Davidson show more.

Something is drawing Julia Collins to Magical Matchups, Chicago's newest dating service that is run by a crackpot old woman named Verna. Five minutes after they've met, Verna introduces "the man Julia will marry" — her best friend's ex. The old woman had better be a witch, because although Scot's kiss ignites a fire in her soul, there's only one way Julia can see them finding a happily ever after. By magic alone.

Tracy Madison's 4th book in her Magic Series. This book is filled with quirky, fun characters and some unusual situations. Julia is trying to keep her dating service afloat and her main competition is Grandma Verda's dating service. Of course with Grandama Verda nothing is what it seems, and unknowingly Julia is gifted with magic. This book is a quick, light, funny read that is thoroughly enjoyable. If you are offended by foul language there are some words including the f bomb that might offend you, but certainly not enough to distract from the story in any way. I suggest reading the other 3 books in the series before reading this one but they are all paranormal/romance, humorous stories guaranteed to entertain.
To start, Tracy Madison's books always seem to be rated on the low side to me. I am a big fan of this series and I think all her books are well written and have a great mixture of romance, magic and fun!

That being said, in the latest edition in the series Grandma Verda is out to find Scot's (the eldest brother) soulmate. I was a little worried before reading this book because it is not told from the perspective of a Raymond family member or relative. However, Julia Collins (whose perspective it is from) is a strong, prideful woman and definitely able to carry the storyline. In the book, Julia, who owns a matchmaking company, Introductions, is being put out of business by Grandma Verda's new company--Magical Matchups. In an attempt to save her business, Julia ventures to Magical Matchups and ends up not only meeting Verda, but being coerced into dating Scot (Verda's grandson) because Verda believes them to be soulmates. Neither Julia nor Scot are happy with this arrangement but due to different reasons decide to 'pretend' date until they can get Verda off their backs. In the meantime, Verda also gifts to Julia a magical journal which allows her to use Verda's writing magic. Although the story plays out similar to the two previous books, where the lovers are not sure if what they feel is due to magic or is real, the new characters and locations keep the book fast paced and addicting. In addition to the main storyline, Grandma Verda's odd behavior from the last book (well more odd than usual) is explained and an overall plot is revealed that ties previous and future books together.

All in all, I absolutely loved this book! I could not put it down and read it in one sitting! The story was interesting, face paced and left me feeling happy in the end.

If you haven't already read the previous three books A Taste of Magic, A Stroke of Magic, and A Breath of Magic, although not necessary, I would highly recommend it for their stories alone!
Short review. *Slight spoilers* Took a while for me to get into the story, like the chemistry between Scot and Julia you could see how much they were attracted to each other but was denying it. Leslie was annoying and self center I don't give away anything but I won't have forgiven her for her behavior nor stayed friends with her. The book is a nice blend of love with a hint of magic woven in, the sex scenes are done tastefully.
In book 4 of her Magic series, Tracy Madison introduces us to Julia Collins and gives Scot Raymond his chance at finding his soul mate. The problem is, Julia doesn't believe in soul mates. That, however, doesn't stop Verda, Scot's grandmother, from doing her best to make sure these two seemingly mismatched people find true love with each other. With a little dose of the Raymond family magic, Julia find her no-nonsense, straight-laced world turned upside down. And what fun that is for us to read about!

Once again, Tracy Madison gives us a light-hearted, romantic story that I couldn't put down. I sure hope she continues with this series, as there are a few characters we've been introduced to in previous stories who'd I think would make great characters in their own books.

**Kindle formatting is very good**
I am a fan of this series of books but this one was a mess. The plot itself was fine but it seemed like it was rushed to print. First of all there were incomplete or odd sentences throughout the book. It was as if they used "find/replace" but didn't check what they were replacing. As a result there are many sentences that just don't make sense. I don't know if it's a Kindle issue or if the print version is like that too. In addition, the ending was very rushed. It was like there was a limit to how long the book could be and the author suddenly realized she had to finish the book in the next chapter.
I'm still giving it 3 stars because I like the story, I like the characters and as eager as I am to see what happens next, I hope the author and editors take a little more time with the next one.
I hadn't read in years. One night, I couldn't sleep and on a whim, I downloaded Tracy Madison's first book in the Gypsy Mavis Series.
Over the past week, I breezed from one book to the next.
My only sadness is that this Series has come to a beautiful close.
I cannot wait to read every single piece of Tracy Madison's published masterpieces.
Thank you for restoring my long-lost joy for reading. I am forever grateful.
Not too bad. This book was a bit forced though. After the great characters and stories in the previous two books this one left me feeling really dissapointed. Ms. Madison should have stopped writing after the second book in this series, or let the characters develop a bit more in the previous books. I won't be reading the future installments of this series.
I loved this book because it presented readers with more about Grandma Verna! This gal ROCKS (and this comes from a 60yr old grandma of 10!)
I love the way Tracy incorporates new characters(Julia)with her established "family" of characters! The books are better when read as a series, but fun enough to read by themselves! One of the authors that I wish could crank out a book a month, (but then would the be as good!)
GREAT, FUN read!!!
