One serious handicap of this book is the lack of practical applications and no solved samples specially on the satellite geodesy side to be used as a text book. One person found this helpful.

Teunissen, Alfred Kleusberg. The school had the support of the International Association of Geodesy, the Netherlands Geodetic Commission, the Department of Geodetic Engineering of the Delft University of Technology, the Department of Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering of the University of New Brunswick, and the Survey Department of Rijkswaterstaat.
Teunissen is Professor of Geodesy and Satellite Navigation at Curtin University (CU), Australia, and Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. Pioneering contributions in this field included GIOVE and GPS signal investigations based on high gain antenna measurements, the build-up of the Cooperative Network for GNSS Observation (CONGO), the evaluation of triple-frequency signals, as well as the early characterization and utilization of the Chinese BeiDou navigation system.
