This is a great, no frills math text. The pages are clean, without distracting sidebars and such. The math is taught clearly, and there are plenty of practice problems. We are using it with the coordinating DVD set.

school sucks
Amis
The book was chewed up on the corner, but the price was good for the condition. We needed it for a class, and it came on the day the homework was due!

This book was purchased as a requirement for school. I ordered through Amazon.com and received it in about a week after purchase. The book was in terrific condition and I paid half the price I would if I had to purchase at a book store or from other websites.
Skyway
It has all the same information the newer version has without the cost. $10-$15 compared to over $200 for version 9.
doesnt Do You
I love it! So does my son. I wish they had the answers and solutions for the even problems. That would make it much more useful.
Really helps with checking our daughters algebra homework.
