Material was presented in a good fashion not the best not the worst. Would recommend to others as it should not be a book that hinders comprehension like other textbooks.

It's an interesting book if you enjoy the subject matter. A wide variety of exercises, and reasonably priced if you buy it used.

I really loved this book as a text on applied combinatorics at my school. I think it is a pretty simple book, and so a good entry point to learn more about the field.

This is one of the college textbooks which I saved from college and found to be an excellent source of reference for years to come. Combinatorics is the kind of math that every programmer needs to know from time to time, but if you're like me you will be a bit rusty everytime a new problem presents itself. I strongly recommend this book to both students and programmers who have yet to appreciate the value of the factorial function ;)
