Nancy Pedrick Mairs (née Smith; July 23, 1943 – December 3, 2016) was an author who wrote about diverse topics, including spirituality, women's issues and her experiences living with multiple sclerosis. She was born on July 23, 1943 in Long Beach, California. She grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, however. She received an AB from Wheaton College, and an MFA in writing and a P. from the University of Arizona.

She was the host of Nancy Grace from 2005 to 2016, which was a nightly celebrity news and current affairs show on HLN, and she was the host of Court TV's Closing Arguments (1996–2007) as well. She also co-wrote the book Objection!: How High-Priced Defense Attorneys, Celebrity Defendants, and a 24/7 Media Have Hijacked Our Criminal Justice System.

Nancy Mair explains that grace can be learned and developed. Consideration for others, an expansive outlook, diplomacy, fluidity of movement, a nurturing attitude, strong convictions, and a respect for others are all prerequisites to having a spiritually beautiful life-and "Grace" shows readers how to capture this magic for themselves. This book is eloquently written - a fantastic read for a self-help book. And not only that, but it provides realistic guidance and real life examples to allow you to better identify with the concepts. I wish there were more books out from this author! 0. Report.
