Art historian Alta Macadam is a resident of Fiesole, on the hillside above Florence. Still the best and most thorough series of guide books around. The Florence volume is a worthy member of the series.

Art historian Alta Macadam is a resident of Fiesole, on the hillside above Florence. Blue Guides pack a tremendous amount of information into their pages, much more than any other guide I've used.
