Daniel did it again, another fun lighthearted book about motorcycle travel. One of the fun things about his books is that they are not in a diary format going from A to B. He tells short stories about the mini adventures that happen during his travels. These are told from the perspective of what is happening inside of his head along with what is around of him. There is a little bit of fantasy mixed in with the stories that happened.

Each story takes from 5 to 15 minutes to read and leaves me wanting to go on a trip with my motorcycle. Looking forward to more books from him in the future!

I am a motorcyclists and this book really captures the excitement, thrill, comaradery and joy of riding a motorcycle. The author really knows how to tell a story too. It's refreshing to read something that is not full of profanities. This book expresses the good clean fun of motorcycling. I recommend it to all. But if you are not a motorcyclist before reading this you just may long to become one after. I also bought and will read two other books of the series. As of now there is still one more that I will be buying soon. READ THESE BOOKS.

This book was a very light and entertaining read and easily completes in an afternoon or two. The author does a nice job of bringing you along on his journey, but I was hard pressed to give his adventures much credibility. Personally, I think this book should have been listed as a work of fiction. Daniel Meyers went through more challenges and (mis)advetures in 30 days of riding than most of us will ever experience in two lifetimes. Take it with a grain of salt. Like i said, it's a fun story and a quick read, but non-fiction?.....I'm not convinced!

I disagree with this. I understand what he's trying to say here, but I believe that these stories can be read by any and all who enjoy a good adventure tale, and who desire to be in touch with the human spirit. The reader need not know how to "ride" a motorcycle, or even own one for that matter. All that is required is a yearning for a good read.

Daniel Meyer sets a good pace in his writings and fashions a well paved journey all the way through to the end. With wit and sincerity, he creates a new and wondrous aspect of this world that many would not expect from a so called "motorcycle trip book", but are pleasently suprised to discover.

Pick up any (or all) of his books... you won't be disappointed.

I'm an avid follower of the Life Is A Road series and can't wait for the next book. Daniel Meyer shares his road experiences, life lessons and humor while giving you the feeling of being there. As a rider, I can relate to some of the adventures he has experienced and look forward to making my own journey through this great country. It's not about where you are going....it's all about how you get there! Time to ride....
